Meeting Dates

At its Annual Reorganization Meeting held on May 6, 2010,  the Pittsgrove Township Board of Education designated the third Thursday of each month as the regular meeting date for the Board of Education, unless otherwise noted (*) below.   All regular meetings, therefore, shall be held on the  following dates:

May 20, 2010
June 21, 2010 *
July 15, 2010
August 19, 2010
September 16, 2010
October 21, 2010
November 18, 2010
December 16, 2010
January 20, 2011
February 17, 2011
March 17, 2011
April 21, 2011

The schedule for regular meetings shall be in effect until the next annual Reorganization Meeting of the Board of Education, or in the case of a regular meeting date falling on a holiday, unless altered by the Board of Education, in which case due public notice will be provided.

Meetings will commence at 7:00 pm and will be conducted at the Arthur P. Schalick High School Media Center.

These meetings will be held for whatever business may come before the Board of Education.  The closed portion of the meeting, from which the public is excluded, will be for the purpose of discussing a matter or matters permitted to be discussed in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act.   Formal action may be taken at any or all of these specified meetings.

Notice of any special meeting of the Board of Education, other than those designated above, shall be forwarded to the Elmer Times, Today’s Sunbeam, The Bridgeton Evening News and The Daily Journal all being newspapers designated by the Board of Education to receive notice under the provisions of the New Jersey Open Public Meeting Law at least 48 hours prior to such meeting being held.  Public Notice of any special meeting shall also be posted at least 48 hours prior to occurrence.
