The month of May promises to be as busy for Olivet School as April has been. We had a fun month with Spring activities. Thanks for supporting all of our arts activities including Blacklight Theatre, our Annual Spring Art Show, and the French Chorus Performance.
School Spirit Day will be held on Friday, May 1st – make sure to wear your GREEN & WHITE to show your school spirit!
The week of May 4th – 8th is National Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week. This is a great time to tell the teachers THANK YOU for the effort that they give to your child each and every day. Don’t forget to thank our nurse on School Nurse Day, May 6th.
The month of May is a testing month. Grades 3 and 4 will take the NJASK State Assessment during the weeking of May 4th. Grade 2 will take the MAP assessment during this same time. Grade 4 will take the MAP during the week of May 11 and Grade 3 will take the MAP during the week of May 18.
We will have school trips and other activities throughout the month of May as well.
We are hoping for good weather during this month ahead.
School will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day.
