Renaissance

Renaissance is a nationwide movement designed to recognize and reward academic excellence, good attendance, and good school citizenship. Schalick provided multiple incentives for students to improve grades, attend school, increase school spirit, and eliminate disciplinary incidents. The criteria for students each semester is:

• No D’s/F’s on their report card
• No more than two unexcused days absent
• No disciplinary referrals
• No suspensions
