»School Report Card (DOE)
S.T.A.R.S. (Students Taking A Righteous Stand) is a prevention group that is open to all students who wish to take a positive stand against alcohol, tobacco, and other drug abuse by making a commitment to abstain from using these substances. These students are encouraged to serve as role models and to exert positive peer pressure so they and other students know that it is not necessary to use drugs to enjoy life. S.T.A.R.S. usually meets once each month for an educational/motivational program and helps sponsor other activities throughout the year.
