Brianna Kavanagh, daughter of William and Corinne Kavanagh, has been named Cougar of the Month for November 2007.
Brianna is in the top 13% of her class, maintains a high GPA, and is involved in many school activities such as Relay For Life, Green and Gold Night, Renaissance, National Honor Society, Student Council Class Officer, Bloodmobile Committee Captain, and the Girls Tennis Team.
Brianna has played on the varsity team for 3 of her 4 years, and has played at #1 both her Junior and Senior years. She has excelled in tennis and has won many awards, including the Tri-County Conference Diamond Division Singles Championship for the past two years, SJTCA All-Star Team, Tri-County Conference Diamond Division All-Star Team, along with many local newspaper All-Star Teams, such as The Courier Post, Daily Journal, and Salem Sunbeam All-Star Teams.
In addition to her school activities, Brianna also volunteers at Elmer Hospital on the weekends. Upon graduation, Brianna plans to attend a four year college, and play tennis at the college level.

Jeffrey Burton, son of David and Karen Burton, of Pittsgrove Township has been named Cougar of the Month for November 2007.
Jeffrey is in the top 30% of his class and is involved in school activities including Renaissance, National Honor Society, School to Careers, and School Counts. He has started taking college classes at Salem Community College and holds two jobs for Worldwide Jet in Millville and H and S DuBois farms in Pittsgove. Jeff also holds his single engine and multi-engine commercial pilots’ licenses as well.
Jeffrey is a volunteer firefighter with Centerton Fire Company, EMS crew member with Elmer Ambulance, and volunteer test pilot for the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration).
After graduation Jeff plans on flying for the airlines and enrolling into a two-year college.
