Cougars of the Month

October, 2007

Troy Holdcraft

Troy Holdcraft, son of Jeffrey and Rose Marie Holdcraft and brother to Leesa Marie Holdcraft of Pittsgrove Township, has been named as Cougar of the Month for October, 2007.

Troy is in the top 20% of his class and is involved in many school activities including bloodmobile, art club, Renaissance, Relay for Life, Art Honor Society, National Honor Society, STARS, and yearbook.

Troy is a dedicated member of the G.U.A.R.D. After attending the Lindsey Meyer Teen Institute (LMTI) camp he was one of the few students chosen to be a Youth Advocate Counselor (Y.A.C.). This required much dedication on his part including traveling to North Jersey several times over the summer. Troy was then honored by being asked to return the next year.

After graduation, Troy plans to continue his education at a four-year college.

Congratulations Troy!

Aimee Petronglo

Aimee Petronglo, daughter of Ed and Lori Petronglo of Pittsgrove Township, has been named as Cougar of the Month for October 2007. Aimee is a well-rounded student who sets a good example for her peers and exhibits leadership qualities. She is an active member of the National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, the DuPont Academic League, Relay for Life, and the school’s concert and jazz bands.

Aimee also co-chairs on REBEL, an anti-smoking group, and is part of STARS, an anti-drinking group. Aimee has been dancing at Children’s Ballet Workshop since she was three years old and last June received the Dancer of the Year Award at the annual recital.

On the weekends she volunteers at the Salem County Historical Society where she helps preserve local history. Throughout high school she’s been taking college prep, honors, and advanced placement classes, and has managed to never miss the honor roll. Aimee has maintained a high GPA and class rank, and is planning on entering a four-year college next fall to major in psychology.

Congratulations Aimee!
